Lunching Training Workshops which are held within Events of First Conference on e-learning and Distance Learning



The National Center for e-learning and Distance Learning launched today 12 training workshops at the headquarters of the center and Al-Faisaliah Hotel. The training workshops are presented by 18 worldwide experts for both men and women with more than 520 participants.

The workshops included different titles in the field of e-learning and distance learning and they are: e-Learning Design & Development, My organization is a jungle: Strategies for overcoming internal resistance to innovation, e-Learning Challenges and Planning, Introduction to Learning Objects, Developing Successful Learning Objects and E-Learning Materials, Authentic Learning Tasks for E-Learning, Evaluating E-Learning, Effective Application of Internal Quality Assurance Procedures to e Learning and Blended Learning Courses.

The participants are faculty members from different Saudi universities, participants in creating content for learning and those who are interested in e-Learning field.

It is worth to mention that these workshops are held within the events of the First Conference on e-learning and Distance Learning which will be held this week under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The conference will include seven main themes: Contemporary international variables and their impact on E-learning, the e-learning environment in the era of globalization and knowledge-based economy, Requirements to design and implement e-learning and distance learning programs, the processes of teaching, learning and designing of electronic curricula, e-learning and people with special needs, Quality and evaluation and International experiences in E-learning and distance learning.
